Sun Chemical maintains the widest portfolio in the market of low migration ink solutions across conventional and UV technologies. Most of these inks are manufactured in our Frankfurt facility including:

SunPak™ Low Hex is a non-drying conventional printing ink system for printing of paper and board substrates based on vegetable oil technology, designed to remove the risk of taint and odor that can be generated in the drying process. Due to their non-drying properties, these inks require in-line water-based coating to protect the print from set-off and marking.

SunPak™ LMQ offers conventional printing inks based on patented technology to ensure the lowest migration possible. Available in a range of colors, these inks are suitable for the printing of paper and board, for food and other forms of sensitive packaging. When combined with SunCoat low-migration water-based coatings, SunPak™ LMQ inks provide a perfect solution for the printing of sensitive packaging.
